Business delegation of Japan visits KFU

Business and research representatives of Japan came on May 18th. Special guests were welcomed by the Linar Latypov, Vice Rector for International Relations, Dmitrii Tayursky , Vice Rector for Education, Andrey Kiyasov, Director of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology, Airat Khasyanov, Director of Higher Schools of Information Technologies and Information Systems, and Nailya Bagautdinova, Director of the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance.

In the course of the meeting parties marked out cooperation development line. For instance, the Head of Ajinomoto Co. Moscow branch, suggested to start production of groceries with high aminoacid content, Daisuke Sugimoto to establish collaboration with the Institute of Fundamental Medicine an Biology. Airat Khasyanov was interested in joint projects with TOSHIBA CIS Ltd.  and Japan Post Service. In addition it was proposed to initiate job internships for students of the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance in aforementioned companies and Iida Sangyo Co., Ltd. и NC Network Co., Ltd as well.

Besides business delegates there was a professor from the University of Tsukuba Toshinobu Usuyama, who stated that according to the cooperation agreement between KFU and Tsukuba University academic exchange will be launched from the next year on. The agreement was signed on February 16th during Rector’s visit to Japan. The document renders the launch of academic exchange programs between undergraduate, postgraduate students, lecturers, and researchers of partner universities.
