Chinese Culture Day took place at the Engineering Cente of the Branch of Kazan Federal University in Naberezhnye Chelny. It was organised by The Department of Philology of the university.  

The meeting was organized in terms of the collaboration with KFU Confucius Institute. The following guests participated in the meeting: representatives from Haier Rus, KOM LLC, Magnolia casting and mechanical plant, Kazan University faculty and students both from Naberezhnye Chelny, Kazan and Elabuga.

Chinese Culture Day is a traditional event for our Institute, said Makhmut Ganiyev, the Director of Naberezhnye Chelny branch of Kazan Federal University. – We are pleased to work together with representatives of PRC. Our last achievement is the establishment of Haier centre in the university so let this celebration set a new level of our relationship!”

Chinese delegation had a tour around the university. Haier Rus CEO Sun Zhenhua has mentioned the upcoming demand for 500 Chinese-speaking skilled employees and his expectations of effective training organized by Kazan Federal University and the ability of the university to meet this demand.

The program of the event was quite tough and nurishing for both sides and it also included two master-classes: “Features of Chinese culture” and “Chinese Business Ethics” and calligraphy contest.
