KFU campus TV broadcaster Universmotri hosted German delegation of Corax youth radio.
The guests were presented with the functioning process of university television at alma mater and UFM student radio station broadcasting in Kazan. The main reason for the visit was the cooperation between Corax, UFM and URa (Naberezhnye Chelny branch of KFU).
Marai Adam, international projects coordinator at Corax commented: "Our radio is based in Halle, the state of Saxony-Anhalt. We broadcast 24/7 and our employees are volunteering students and adults".
The collaboration of Corax and URa started back in November, 2013. Firstly, the delegation made a visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, then, vice versa, in December, 2014, URa went to Germany. Datscha-Radio program is a product of this partnership. It provides information about science and education, culture and mentality, lifestyle of youngsters living in our countries and is broadcasted twice a week.
In the course of the meeting colleagues discussed the concept of Datscha-radio, recording specifics, and to enhance understanding amongst listeners it was suggested to translate Russian media into German and to establish German-learning section for KFU students.
