Alain Le Mehaute:'Kazan school of Physics is impressive'

August 25 - Kazan Federal University opened the Third International Conference on Statistical Physics and Mathematics of Complex Systems - SPMCS'2012.
The Conference is organized by Kazan Federal University and Institut supérieur des matériaux et mécaniques avancées ISMANS, France.
One of the main ideas of the conference is that each system is first broken down into components, elements which are later studied by their properties and functional features, and then the properties of the system are reconstructed by adding the properties of its elements, as the sum of solutions is also a solution.
SPMCS Conference was established as an interdisciplinary incubator for international exchange revolutionary and innovative ideas. Given the scientific level and traditions of Kazan, SPMCS'2012 will act as a particular stage in the development of this platform. Scientists from France, China, Germany, Japan, Portugal, Mexico, Greece, Turkey, and Ukraine take part in the conference. The conference features presentations on three main areas: statistical physics and thermodynamics in systems of finite size, and nonextensive nanoscopic systems, quantum thermodynamics, mathematical problems of complex systems, natural complex systems (physical, chemical and biological studies), the economic, social, political complex systems.

First report was delivered by Director of the Institute of Modern Materials, ISMANS, Le Mans, France, Alain le Mehaute, and his speech was devoted to the general view of the physics of complex systems. After the presentation, there was extensive discussion, the topic, the scientist inundated with questions.

The conference will continue until August 30.
