Accompanied by the Rector Ilshat Gafurov the Head of the city followed the repair works at the Kazan federal university. His interest is understandable: nowadays University goes through a real building boom. KFU renovates from its own expenses fronts of 23 buildings situated in the center of the city. Front works should be finished till the 30th of October 2012. Moreover, at the 2nd KFU high-rise building and at other main buildings the interior renovation works take place. It is also to mention that the Planetarium building works are also in progress.
At the institutes Ilsur Metshin was demonstrated the laboratories arranged with the new equipment. He was impressed by the volume of works realized during one year period. City mayor also highlighted that on KFU great hopes are pinned.
In his talks with the journalists Ilsur Metshin said that daily at KFU objects do work approximately 300 builders. “In September students will see the University with the new image. I am talking not only about the exterior look of the buildings, but also about its interior equipment. We are slowly approaching universities, that make up Top-100 ”- he noticed.
