KFU Institute of History launches International Summer School

August 6: International Summer School “Experience of intercultural contacts in the Volga-Urals region: Islam and Christianity from confrontation to tolerance” was opened as organized by the Department of Tatar and Turkic Studies under KFU Institute of History. Master students and young scholars from several German and Italian universities are School participants. The program includes intensive Russian sessions, history and culture of ethnicities residing in the Volga-Urals region as well as sightseeing tours.
