Сolorful event of many nations took place at UNICS in the evening of the 27th of February. The hundreds of students of alma-mater who arrived in Kazan from different places of the world started speaking their languages at the same time. However the one thing was common, it's the language of the art.

Before the official beginning of the concert we managed to with Albina Uskaeva, the Chairman of the Union of foreign students of KFU.

-  Students fervently took part in this event and were actively participating in its preparation. Ten countries members are participating in tonight's gala-concert. There was a number of events preceding the gala concert, among them: football and chess turners, photos exposition, "Inter club today and tomorrow: development of intercultural communications in Kazan Federal University" round table and many others.

It's true that students were very active and excited about the event. UNICS hall was fill up with different colors of different nationalities talking and having fun. Expositions of Serbia, Kazakhstan, Tadzhikistatan, China, Sri Lanka and some countries of Africa were presented to the guests. Ethnic musical instruments, folk-songs sound so sincere. Dances of different nationalities of the world varied like on multicolored kaleidoscope glass.

Soon after foreign students were talking from the concert hall screen about their everyday life in the students' campus and the way they organize national cuisine days there.  They were also expressing their opinion about Russia and were explaining why do they like Russia and what do they like in Russia. Foreign students claimed that they are proud to be students of Kazan Federal University.

According to Lenar Latypov, Vice-Rector for International Relations of KFU there are 2106 of foreign students in our university.

- I think that there are many reasons of the popularity of Kazan University. Among them the fact that Lenin, Tolstoy and other famous people studied here. I hope that you will learn Russian language and manage to get into the spirit of Russian art.

Those proved to be fatidic words, it seemed like performing international students felled the art to the fullest and shared this feeling with everybody in the concert hall.   To sum up, this gala-concert called the Festival of the friendship and kindness do deserve its name.
