Indian guest has visited Kazan Federal University

There was a lecture of Sanjay Kumar Radjhans, Associate Professor of Kyiv International University in the Institute of International Relations, History and Oriental Studies 27 of February 2015.

The theme of the lecture was dedicated to the theme of the “Indian state and its socio-cultural sphere” and was made in English. The guest evaluated the main stages of the historical development from the extreme antiquity till the current time of this great country. 

The lecture provoked great interest, so auditorium, mostly presented by IIRH&OS students and Kazan schoolmates, listened carefully and posed many questions.

Sanjay Kumar Radjhans is the permanent member of the committee for Middle East studies in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with the wide spector of scientific interests, he speaks Hindi, Sanskrit, English and Russian.

By the way, there will be a new direction of Hindi and Indian literature studies in the IIRH&OS.

It’s worth mentioning that there is a long path of partnership between Russia and India. Both countries are the members of BRICS organization, and economical relations of these countries are strategically important. So, the commodity circulation of two countries is planned to be extended till 30 billion dollars. Thereupon, training of specialists understanding Indian economic and social situation and languages of India is quite significant and promising.
