A delegation headed by Vice-Rector for Foreign Affairs Jiang Xinmiao visited on June 26th.
Hunan Normal University is a longstanding partner for KFU and a co-founder of the local Confucius Institute. It provides regular help and guidance in developing curricula and establishing new ties in education.
Academic mobility was the main point of discussion during this latest meeting. Chinese language is very popular among KFU students, and a problem with enrolment has arisen – there are just not enough instructors for everybody. Fifteen teachers (not a small number for such institutions per se) are fully occupied. The two universities agreed to solve this problem by attracting more educators from HNU.
Vice-Rector Jiang then proceeded to tour the Confucius Institute and the University.
