Trustees of the Faculty of Law of KFU are Firmly Resolved to Make It One of the Leaders

Board of Trustees of the Faculty of Law of KFU, presided by a graduate of Kazan University – Kazan-city Mayor, Mr. Ilsur Metshin, held its meeting.

Dean of the Faculty of Law, Mr. Ildar Tarkhanov, presented the trustees the lines of activity, which needed help and their support in preserving staff potential of the Faculty of Law, scientific activity intensification and educational process modernization.

The cases in question were grants for the most successful students, post-graduate students, employees and aged teachers; scientific magazine founding; inviting of lectors and teachers from Russia and abroad; lecture room equipping.

Ildar Abdulkhakovich paid a special attention to the activity carried out by the Legal Clinic of KFU, which renders free help to Kazan citizens. Unfortunately, the Clinic still has no isolated premises.

During the discussion the trustees submitted their proposals on the problems solving. By the next meeting, which is planned to be arranged in May, they will have to offer a certain “Plan of Help” to the Faculty of Law. It is obvious that the trustees are trying to pay more attention to the Faculty and are ready to deliver open lectures and share their experience. And it is not for nothing that Mr. Ilsur Metshin concluded as follows at the end: “We must repay debts to Alma mater and do everything possible to make the Faculty of Law of our Kazan University a leader in Russia”.

Recently the Board of Trustees of one of the oldest faculties accepted new members – the University graduates, Minister of Informatization and Communications of Tatarstan, Mr. Roman Shaykhutdinov, and the Head of Investigation Department of the Investigation Committee of the RF in the RT, Mr. Pavel Nikolayev.
