Thirteen graduate students and six PhD candidates are among the winners of 2015/2016 Government of Tatarstan Scholarship.
Vice-Rector for Education Dmitry Tayursky noted that both sciences and humanities are represented in this year's list. He added that students become more talented year after year – the number of scholarship laureates as well the steady rise of the students’ Unified State Exam scores can attest to this.
The scholarship is awarded for academic excellence and performance at conferences and olympiads. PhD candidate Yekaterina Pankova told us that in 2015 she participated in several scientific forums and won a 100 thousand ruble grant. She already has 28 publications one of which is in a Scopus journal.
Our graduates and postgraduates are also winners of other prestigious contests, such as the President of Russia Scholarship, Government of Russia Scholarship, Oxford Russia Scholarship, and others.
