On the 25th of July a ceremonial awarding of winners in the video clip contest “Participate in Universiade 2013” was held in the Museum of History of Kazan University.
The Institute of Mass Communications and Social Sciences of KFU was the event organiser. DNK corporation and Synergy company were the contest sponsors.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of DNK corporation, Mr. Murat Takbaev, congratulated the contest participants and winners and thanked the partners – Panasonic company, which presented two video cameras to the team of the University studio.
The Director of the Institute of Mass Communications and Social Sciences of KFU, Mr. Nail Mukharyamov, made special mention of great importance of the recently held Universiade for students’ creative activity development: “Kazan has never received such a great number of foreign guests before or had such a tremendous quantity of information occasions”. He finished his speech with a brief meaningful appeal: “We are awaiting all of you to become our Master’s Degree students!”
The First Deputy Director of Noviy Vek (New Century) TV and radio company, Mr. Ilshat Safiullin, in his turn, was extremely surprised by such a “strong material basis for creative work” existing in Kazan Federal University and wished young people further creative and professional growth.
The solemn awarding ceremony started with congratulation of creative teams. The team of the University TV “Universmotri” in person of its director, Mr. Ildar Karimov, was awarded a diploma. Julia Abdullina, an interpreter of Universmotri TV, was awarded for internationalization of the project. Askar Gabdulatzyanov, a videotape editor of Universmotri, became the winner in the nomination “Bright and on-line videotape editing”. The head of the department of TV Broadcasting and TV Production, Ms. Resida Dautova, was awarded in the nomination “Creative approach to reports about Universiade 2013”.
Now a few words about the main heroes. Alexander Tokarev, a videographer of the site Студпроф.рф (the 3rd place), Alsina Gazizova, a coordinator of the KFU student TV Universmotri (the 2nd place), and Victoria Egorova, a correspondent of the KFU student TV Universmotri (the 1st place), became the winners of the video clip contest “Participate in Universiade 2013”.
At the end of the ceremony the Vice-Rector of KFU for Social Education, Mr. Arif Mezhvedilov, cordially congratulated the winners. He reminded attendees that the following year would be the anniversary year for Kazan Federal University (210 years from its establishment day) and that that was a golden opportunity to demonstrate one’s creative abilities once again.
