This year’s event takes place in Denver, Colorado, USA, on May 29th – June 3rd.
The National Association for Foreign Student Affairs is the world’s biggest non-profit entity engaged in international education and exchange matters. It now includes over 10,000 representatives of national governments, foundations, research centers, and businesses from more than 150 countries. The annual conference and expo is also one of the biggest events of its kind.
The expo's tagline for 2016 is «Building Capacity for Global Learning». Universities from Russia, China, India, Turkey, the USA, the UK, Japan, Iceland, Portugal, Spain, and other countries, rankings agencies and companies all present their programs and services to the public.
The Russian pavilion includes booths of Project 5-100 universities, among them KFU. Kazan University presents its brochure with information on programs, research, student activities, and Strategic Academic Units. The visitors can familiarize themselves with the University’s bicentennial history.
Russian delegates partake in working sessions and roundtables on international education and try to use this opportunity to establish as many contacts as possible. After all, they are tasked with giving all the country a positive image at the global level.
