April 15 - Memorandum of Understanding between the KFU and the Czech Technical University in Prague was signed by Rector of CTU Yyrzhi Bill and rector of KFU Ilshat Gafurov. The business delegation to the Czech Republic was headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Another Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Government of Tatarstan and "Mitas" company.
Both events were part of Czech-Tatarstan Business Forum which opened today in the capital of the Czech Republic. The opening ceremony was attended by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Martin Cuba.
Tatarstan delegation consisted of 40 business leaders, representatives of academic and educational institutions (including the director of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology Andrey Kiyasov). The event began on April 14 and will last for three days.
As Martin Cuba said in his welcoming speech this can be used as a perfect opportunity to discuss the future plans of both parties on the development of joint projects, on enlarging cooperation opportunities for entrepreneurs of the Czech Republic and Tatarstan.
Minnikhanov thanked the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Czech Republic Sergey Kiselev for organizing the visit and warm welcome.
