Kazan Federal University is actively focusing on cooperation with global ranking agencies and constant analysis of its position against leading universities in these ranking systems. Last week, KFU was visited by the founder of Webometrics ranking Isidro Aguillo who presented his seminars on the improvement of the University visibility and, consequently, its ranking position. At the same time it became known that Kazan Federal University entered a new QS ranking for Emerging Europe and Central Asia, occupying the position of 51-60.
Marat Safiullin commented on this achievement: “The new QS ranking evaluates universities from 30 countries. All of them are potentially interesting to our university, in terms of their influence on the regions, as well as attracting students. University has to identify its sphere of specific interest, offer something unique for this segment to the market of educational and research services. In addition, the University should actively participate in recruiting, improve and offer new effective English language courses”.
