Attendants were treated to some of the best performances on October 26th.
The competition itself lasted from October 4th to 13th. The best of the best, as usual, showcased their talents and received during the final concert. Among the guests were Rector Ilshat Gafurov and Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports of Tatarstan Vladimir Leonov. Yuliya Vinogradova, Director of the Department of Physical Culture, Social and Youth Affairs of KFU, received a provincial award for her contribution to youth policy.
The general script of the gala told about a freshman who got expelled after the very first exam season. Young Vladimir Lenin miraculously came to life and descended from his pedestal near the KFU Main Building to help the poor lad.
Spectators noted the incredible production quality that now basically rivals professional concert shows.
As usual, the institutes were divided into three categories for the award purposes. The Institute of Chemistry won in the small group, the Institute of Computational Mathematics and the Institute of Physics shared the victory in the middle group, the Institute of Philology prevailed in the big group.
