On October 18, 2012 Doctor Ukki Pietilyainen started giving a course “Mass Media in Finland” at the Faculty of Journalism and Sociology of Kazan University. The following topics are supposed to be studied during this course: mass media development in Finland, modern mass media structure and economics, Finnish mass media audience, media in political process, subject and content of mass media reports, journalistic ethics, image of Russia in mass media of Finland.
Lectures will be conducted each day (till October 30, 2012) from 11:30 to 12:50, except for Saturday and Sunday, in lecture room No. 307, located by the address: 5, Tovarischeskaya str. The course is delivered in the Russian language. There will be no lecture on October 25, 2012 because of the national holiday; lectures will be given on Friday and Saturday (the 26th and 27th of October). Everyone is welcome.
