Vice-Rector Linar Latypov welcomed Director of the Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Center D. Jaysundar on March 13th.
The sides discussed the Center for Indian Studies’ current projects. The Embassy of India has allocated grants for this Center for two years now. The Center presented its report.
Among other details, it was revealed that there are currently 33 students engaged in learning Hindi and Indian culture at the Center. There are multiple lectures and other events dedicated to the country and its many facets.
Mr. Jaysundar assured that the Embassy plans to continue the grant program and invite a visiting professor from India to stay at the Center for Indian Studies and promote research and education cooperation.
