The document was signed by the Director of the Science Centre, Mr. Winai Dahlan, and Vice-Rector of KFU for International Relations, Mr. Linar Latypov. The agreement concerned exchange of research and scientific materials, publications and information, organising of joint academic activity in the form of conferences and seminars, joint research programs, exchange of students and researchers.
According to Linar Latypov, the parties have already determined main lines of cooperation, namely joint researches in the sphere of Halal standard products testing and creation.
Mr. Winai Dahlan, in his turn, also emphasized importance of the document signed on that day. “Russia is a leader in export of Halal products, which are very popular in Thailand,” he noted. “Halal products trading is of high demand in many countries, and the most urgent problem today is safety of goods sold in the market. We have rich experience in products testing and certification, that’s why our cooperation will be mutually beneficial.”
