The Department of Tax and Law was established in 2012. Since August 2014 the Department is known as the Department of Taxation.

Economics: Taxation by Types of Economic Activity

Students are engaged in research activities. They partake in the International Student Olympiad in Taxation" organized by the Chamber of Tax Consultants and Inter-University Law Olympiad for Non-Law Students.

Research is conducted in the following areas:

- Taxation of economic activities;

- National tax policy of the Russian Federation and its regions;

- Problems and peculiarities of tax administration in Russia.

- Topical problems of civil and financial legislation.
