The Department of Economics and Management was established in June 2013. It teaches economics and related humanities to all the students of the Institute.
Teachers' research works include the development of current theoretical and applied problems of economics and management.
Our main research areas are:
- regional economic history;
- economic security;
- investment policy;
- socioeconomic environment of a modern city.
The Department administers the Business Communications Lab.
A retraining program in Innovation Management is being implemented within the framework of the Kama Region Innovative Industrial Cluster. Advanced training in economics for experienced professional is also supervised by the Department.
