KFU has cooperation agreements with a number of higher education institutions and scientific organizations of Spain. One of the oldest academic partners of KFU is Granada University, the cooperation agreement with which was signed back in 1995.

Collaboration with Spanish universities is mainly realized in the form of academic exchange with specializations in philology.
