Presentation - Cooperation with German academia (October 2016)

KFU has long term mutually beneficial relationships with the scientific and educational centers of Germany. Agreement on scientific and cultural cooperation with Justus Liebig University of Giessen, one of the oldest partners of Kazan Federal University, was signed in October, 1989. Today different types of cooperation with Justus Liebig University Giessen are implemented: student and faculty exchange, research internships, joint research, etc.

Nowadays KFU collaborates with the following universities in Germany in the framework of partnership agreements and participation in joint research and educational projects:

Germany holds a leading position among the countries that our specialists and students visit a lot. The purposes of their visits are research and education: in 2011 166 people went to Germany, including 66 students and graduates, and 100 staff and faculty members.

During 2011/12 academic year KFU is training 24 students from Germany: 4 of them study under the contract and 20 – in the framework of exchange programs.
