German Center of Education, Science and Culture of the Kazan Federal University was founded in 2005. The main goal of its activities is the support and dissemination of German language and culture in the Republic of Tatarstan. The German Center considers being its mission the consolidation of the German-Russian dialog, development of cooperation between our countries, establishment of contacts between educational, scientific and cultural institutions in Germany and Tatarstan. German Center affords the wide spectrum of educational programs (courses) in German language for all categories of population. International scientific and educational projects take the relevant place in the activities of the center. In addition the German Center sets itself the task of popularization of creative work of German cultural figures through the organization of visits, concerts, readings.
