The scientific research of the Continuous Education Institute created on the base of Kazan State University is directed towards integrated development of additional and continuous education in KSU by means of creation, development and fulfillment of innovative projects in this sphere.    

Achievement of the specified goal presupposes accomplishing of the following objectives: 

• Acquisition and analysis of the information on global trends, modern domestic and foreign products, creating circulating knowledge and the mechanisms of spread of competitive social, humanitarian, management and education technologies;    
• Development, assessment and implementation of diversified interdisciplinary educational programs of additional and continuous education; 
• Assistance to development of regional and interregional networks of distant education and interactive teaching, formation of informational educational resources’ data bank;
•  Marketing research of the educational services’ and labour market, assistance to creation and licensing of perspective, new specialties and directions of additional and continuous education in KSU;
• Organization and holding of science and practical conferences, seminars and exhibitions on the problem of rendering educational services in additional and continuous education; 

Accomplishment of sectoral, republican, Russian and international research programs, grants and commercial projects.
