The training centre of the Tatar philology and history was founded in 2000-2001 in order to fulfill the programs of additional education concerning the major specialties in which the faculty of the Tatar philology and history prepares specialists.      

The work of the centre is conducted in paid form according to contracts with physical and juridical persons.
Each member of additional education programs is given an option of 36, 40, 60, 80, 100 or 120 hour courses.
The studying process is fulfilled in typically academic forms of University classes.
At the end of studying in case of successful accomplishment of training program the student gets a certificate endorsing his short term advanced training..

The main centre’s directions:

• Teaching common citizens, businessmen and civil servants about Tatar written and oral speech;
• Organization of the courses "History of Kazan", "History of the Tatar people" on application of tourist agencies;
• Teaching the old Tatar writing system;
• Teaching the Tatar language using modern technologies;      
• Organization of Tatar language and literature preparatory courses for those who intend to enter Universities. 
• Federal Exam preparation.
