The mission of the Department is to nurture highly qualified specialists in special psychology, speech therapy and preschool defectology.
Teachers provide students the acquirement of basic educational program in the following specialties: 050715.65 "Speech therapy", three bachelor programs 050700.62: "Speech therapy", "Special psychology", "Preschool defectology".
Department members prepare highly qualified speech pathologists, promote and expand defectological knowledge, introduce advanced correctional and developing technologies in the institutions of the city and region, carry out the expert and advisory activities.
