Department of General and Social Pedagogy was established by order of rector of Kazan State Pedagogical University No. 125-a dated 18 July 2002 on the basis of the decision of the Academic Council from 21 June 2002
This Department trains bachelor and master students majoring in “PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION”.

-PSYCHOLOGY and SOCIAL PEDAGOGY
-PSYCHOLOGY and PEDAGOGY of WORK ARRANGEMENT WITH YOUTH)
Bachelor PROGRAMS of PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION
(SPECIALIZATION is ADDITIONAL EDUCATION AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE)
From the very beginning of the Department establishment, its main goal includes: set up traditions of the classical psychological and pedagogical education, build student body, foster the development of responsible attitude to academic work, engage in research work, organize student self-government, increase student knowledge about their future profession, enculturate, master the basics of etiquette, organize and encourage participation of students in socially useful work
