Division of Tatar Philology cooperates with the subdivisions and leading scientists of the research institutes and universities of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Russian Federation, countries of near and far abroad within the framework of the implementation of scientific and educational projects and programs.

Department actively collaborates with the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University (there is a Memorandum of Understanding between the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Republic of Kazakhstan) and the Kazan Federal University" (Russian Federation)); as well as with the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan (there is an Associate Agreement). An annual International Scientific and Practical Conference "Literature and artistic culture of the Turkic peoples in the East-West context" has been held in conjunction with the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences since 2014.
