The Faculty has been training teachers of Tatar language and literature for more than 60 years. Today, Faculty of Tatar and Comparative Philology administer the following programs:
BACHELOR
SPECIALIST
Students receive versatile general academic, educational and vocational training. Classes are conducted in Tatar, Russian, English and Turkish languages. As part of the educational practice, students participate in archaeological, folklore and dialectological expeditions. The Museum of the Tatar language and literature and a language laboratory provide addittional instruction.
The faculty administers the Department of Tatar Philology.
