Division of general economics is the largest at the Institute with more than 1,000 students. The goal of the department is the development of analytical and economic thinking in future economists on an international level.

The division supervises baccalaureate programs in economics.

The selection of students for the second stage of education (years 3 - 4) is carried out on a competitive basis via the aggregate rating (points in the first 2 years of education).

We pay our utmost attention to encouraging independent scientific work and creative thinking.
