The JetBrainsLab laboratory at ITIS was opened in September 2013. Students here study the technologies necessary for the development of web apps and employ their expertise in real-life projects.
We cover all the stages of web-app design: analytics, interface design, design, client and server side development, testing, system deployment on cloud servers and subsequent support. Students themselves decide which field they want to pursue.
We believe that our practice-lead approach and friendly work environment creates the kind of capable specialists that are so in demand in the job market.
In addition, we are keen to share knowledge, and incorporate student-led seminars into our syllabus.
Main technologies used: Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, JSP, Freemarker, JDBC, AngularJS, JQuery. JetBrains products are used in the development process, including IntelliJ IDEA, WebStorm, TeamCity, YouTrack and Upsource, as well as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Muse, Adobe Illustrator, AxureRP.
